3-Day Serengeti Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Serengeti Central

Morning:

  • 6:00 AM: Pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
  • Drive to Serengeti National Park with en-route game viewing.
  • Arrive at the park gate and complete entry formalities.
  • Proceed to Serengeti Central, enjoying a game drive along the way.
  • Check-in at your safari camp or lodge.

Afternoon:

  • Lunch at the camp/lodge.
  • Relax and enjoy the facilities of the camp/lodge.
  • Afternoon game drive in Serengeti Central, exploring the vast plains and searching for wildlife.
  • Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti Western Corridor

Morning:

  • 6:30 AM: Early breakfast at the camp/lodge.
  • Depart for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti Western Corridor.
  • Explore the Grumeti River area, known for its abundance of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and large herds of migratory animals.
  • Search for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as they hunt for prey in the savannah.

Afternoon:

  • Picnic lunch in the bush.
  • Continue the game drive, visiting different areas of the Western Corridor.
  • Return to the camp/lodge in the late afternoon.
  • Relax and unwind before dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti Northern Serengeti

  • 5:30 AM: Early morning game drive in the Serengeti, catching the sunrise over the savannah.

  • Return to the camp/lodge for a late breakfast.

Afternoon:

  • Check-out from the camp/lodge.

  • Visit the Lobo area, known for its resident wildlife and stunning landscapes.
  • Lunch en-route.
  • Departure from Serengeti National Park in the afternoon, with drop-off at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
